Rebecca Schauer
came to the Pentucket Regional School District in 2010 following a one-year teaching fellowship at Phillips Exeter Academy. Ms. Schauer has also taught privately for the Hopkinton Public Schools for four years and independently since 2000. She has also developed Summer Strings Programs for the Milford Public Schools in 2006 and the Pentucket Regional School District in 2011. She currently teaches privately for the Program for Students on the Autism Spectrum at The Boston Conservatory and the Pentucket Music Academy. Ms. Schauer holds a Bachelor's and a Master's in Viola Performance from Boston University's College of Fine Arts. She is also in the process of receiving a Graduate Diploma in Music Education from The Boston Conservatory. As a performer, Ms. Schauer has played with ensembles such as the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and the Neponset Valley Philharmonic Orchestra. She has attended music festivals at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute and the Heifetz Institute. In addition to playing and teaching string instruments, Ms. Schauer also enjoys cooking, running, practicing yoga and spending time with friends and family.
